On July 11, H.E. Ambassador Ren Hongyan joined nearly a hundred local youth and volunteers for a beach cleanup initiative organized by local non-profit organisations. Together, they collected and sorted coastal waste, taking concrete action to promote marine environmental protection.

Ambassador Ren highly commended the local youth for their active engagement in environmental causes, emphasizing that the ocean is a shared asset for all humanity. He noted that China attaches great importance to preserving the marine ecosystem and is ready to deepen cooperation with Trinidad and Tobago to jointly protect our blue seas and skies.

Representatives from Trinidad and Tobago expressed gratitude to the Chinese Embassy for its support of local environmental initiatives. They look forward to further strengthening exchanges and cooperation with China, drawing on its valuable experience in environmental preservation.
