On February 3rd, Ambassador Ren Hongyan met with Professor Judith Gobin, the renowned marine biologist and Chair of the Asa Wright Nature Centre Trust Board of Trinidad and Tobago.

Ambassador Ren praised Prof. Gobin's outstanding contributions to global ecological protection, highlighted Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization and China's green development achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan, and expressed willingness to collaborate with the Centre on environmental research and talent cultivation.

Prof. Gobin commended China's remarkable progress in balancing economic growth with environmental protection, and expressed interest in learning from China's experience to promote personnel exchanges, deepen practical cooperation, and foster mutual learning.
