On March 13, the Chinese Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago participated in the "Foreign Language Day” cultural exhibition hosted by Bishop Anstey High School. Chargé d'Affaires Yang Han attended the event and engaged with participants on site. 
Yang introduced to the audience the long-lasting friendship and fruitful cultural exchanges between China and Trinidad and Tobago. He noted that,in recent years, the two sides have successfully held visual art competition, grand concert and other wonderful cultural activities, which have built bridges between the two peoples. Yang reiterated that China is ready to work with Trinidad and Tobago to further tap the potential of bilateral cooperation in culture and education and jointly promote the implementation of the Global Civilization Initiative. He encouraged students from Trinidad and Tobago to actively learn Chinese language and go studying in China, so as to let the traditional friendship between the two countries be passed on from generation to generation. 
At the exhibition, the Chinese Embassy set up a booth to demonstrate the cultural heritage of Chinese language and characters and the great achievements of Chinese modernization, while cultural experience activities such as Chinese calligraphy and traditional paper-cutting were offered and warmly welcomed by teachers and students attending the event.
