On November 28, Mr. Yang Han, Charge d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago, met with His Worship Alderman Chinua Alleyne, Mayor of Port of Spain, at the Embassy’s Chancery, during which views on bilateral ties and collaboration on the city level were cordially exchanged.  

Both sides underscored the importance of mutual efforts leading to the enhancement of friendly collaboration between Port of Spain and Shanghai along with other Chinese cities, highlighting cultural and people-to-people interaction and practical cooperation, as well as city development, with the aim to bring about shared benefits and to inject greater momentum into bilateral relations.
