Ambassador Fang Qiu bid farewell to President Christine Kangaloo ORTT

On September 30th, Ambassador Fang Qiu bid farewell to Her Excellency Christine Carla KangalooO.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Ambassador Fang expressed his gratitude for President Kangaloo's consistant support for China-Trinidad and Tobago relations. He noted that, under the strategic guidance of the leaders of both countries, the comprehensive partnership between China and Trinidad and Tobago has kept deepening in recent years. The two nations have continuously strengthened their traditional friendship, consolidated mutual political trust, and expanded mutually beneficial cooperation. China standsready to take the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations as an opportunity to work with Trinidad and Tobago to elevate the bilateral ties to new heights.

President Kangaloo spoke highly of the development of China-Trinidad and Tobago relations in recent years, emphasizing the deep-rooted friendship and strong bonds of amity between the two peoples. She acknowledged Ambassador Fang's active contributions during his tenure to promoting bilateral ties and extended her best wishes to him.
