On September 12, Chinese Ambassador Fang Qiu met with the Honourable Fitzgerald Hinds, Minister of National Security of Trinidad and Tobago.

The both sides exchanged views on issues of common interest pertaining bilateral relations, and agreed to seize the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Trinidad and Tobago to work together in advancing practical cooperation and ultimately benefiting the people of both nations.
